טנגרוס וחברים יקרים

השנה התחילה עם חדשות עצובות לי על מותם המפתיע של שניים מידועי הרקדנים והמורים של הטנגו: "טטה" רוסקוני ואוזוולדו זוטו

הם כרוב המורים ורקדנים בדרך כלל היו מגיעים למילונגות בשעות המאוחרות של הלילה לאחר הופעותיהם ולפעמים גם היו נותנים הופעות במילונגות. כל אחד מהם היה בעל סגנון ריקוד מאד ייחודי. לפני הרבה זמן גם השתתפתי במספר שיעורים עם טטה, בהם הרבה לדבר על הטנגו. הם העניקו אופי מיוחד לכל מקום בו הם היו רוקדים וקשה לי לתאר לעצמי את המילונגות של בואנוס איירס בלעדיהם

Queridos tangueros y amigos:

El año comenzó con las sorpresivas y tristes noticias sobre la desaparición de dos de los grandes maestros y bailarines de tango: “Tete” Rusconi y Osvaldo Zotto


Ellos, al igual que la mayoría de los profesores y bailarines de tango, llegaban a la milonga en las avanzadas horas de la noche luego de sus actuaciones, y a veces también daban una exhibición. Cada uno de ellos tenía un estilo de baile muy personal. Hace muchos años atrás también participé de varias clases con Tete, en las que solía contar mucho sobre el tango. Ellos aportaban un especial carácter a cada lugar en el que bailaban y me cuesta imaginar las milongas de Buenos Aires sin ellos.

Dear friends & tangueros:

This year started with the sad & surprising news about the death of 2 of the renowned tango masters and dancers: “Tete” Rusconi and Osvaldo Zotto

They, as most the other teachers and dancers, usually arrived late at night to the milonga after their shows, and sometimes made exhibitions in the milonga. Each of them had a unique dancing style. Long time ago I participated in some of Tete’s tango lessons, in which he used to speak a lot about tango. They gave a special atmosphere to each place in which they have danced, and it is very difficult for me to imagine Buenos Aires’s milongas without them.
